ATLANTA (July 28, 2025) – Aperture Hotels announced today the appointment of Kate Bain as Vice President, Commercial Strategy. In this newly created role, Bain will oversee sales, marketing, and revenue optimization strategies across the company’s growing portfolio.
Bain brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to Aperture, with leadership roles spanning hotel sales, catering, and event management. She most recently served as Area Director of Sales for InterMountain Management, where she was responsible for commercial performance at a collection of Marriott-branded hotels.
Kate’s background includes positions with Omni, Marriott,Swissotel, and independent properties, as well as large-scale catering and sales at Washington Nationals Ballpark and the University of Kentucky Athletics. She has served on CVB advisory councils and counts among her highlights catering one of the 2008 inaugural balls for President Barack Obama.

Bain began her hospitality career at the front desk of an Omni Hotel before transitioning into food and beverage and sales leadership roles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Tourism Management from James Madison University.
She will be based in Lexington, Kentucky.
